Hello viewers! Today I'm going to talk about Apple. Apple seems to be developing quite a few things recently, including the iPad Mini, the Macbook Pro, and the iPhone 5. Some of my views of Apple changed when they began a lawsuit against HTC for two phones, which they claimed had a few copyright issues, so now AT&T does not sell HTC phones and probably will not ever again. But I do not think that was fair of Apple, and it just shows that Apple sees Samsung as a threat.
As for the iPad Mini, I'm not sure if I believe this rumor, because first of all, I do not think Apple would do that, because it would most probably be cheaper than the real iPad and Apple would not even be able to sell full-size iPads since there is a cheaper version, unless they make the iPad Mini have extremely terrible specs. But if they had terrible specs, there would be no point in selling and making iPad Mini's since no one would buy them.
I do not think I would buy a Macbook Pro with no optical drive and no Ethernet port. Those, to me are very important things to have, as sometimes Hotels have internet that only includes non-wireless internet, and you wouldn't be able to access Internet in non-wireless places. Also, I do not really care about the display, retina or whatever. It isn't like you need a really fancy display. The only thing good about what the rumors say is that it will be thinner, and will have an Ivy Bridge processor. I always though the Macbook Pro was kind of breaking Apple's unofficial rule of thinness, as so I thought the Mac Mini was. But if the thinness removes the optical drive, then it is no use, and it is just like the retina display, a want, but not a need.
As for the iPhone 5, I believe it will be released either in July or August. I think I would get an iPhone 5 if it was the same price as the 4S. It is said to have a new processor, very good, and a bigger display, even better. The bigger display is most probably trying to rise up against Samsung's smartphones, like the iPad Mini is trying to rise up against the Kindles and the Nook and the smaller tablets. It is also said to become thinner, and I believe with the thinness, faster processor and bigger display, it could beat Samsung's phones.
